However, prices have been rising significantly, similar to trends seen elsewhere in late 2022. The service tends to decline when the restaurant is busy, so be prepared to be patient, as you may experience wait times and potentially receive incorrect or missing orders.
I always look forward to my visits to Zankou when I'm nearby. I usually go for the Tri-tip Shawarma and Chicken Tarna, and I enjoy mixing the two to create tasty pita sandwiches. The meat portions are quite generous, so we often have leftovers. I believe they are among the best options for Middle Eastern takeout. I also like to order extra pickled radishes and garlic to make even more pita sandwiches.
Great place for Mediterranean food. Plenty menu options to choose from. I recommend the rosted chicken combination. This place accepts cash and card. There is plenty of parking outside, but parking is limited. Parking is free, and there is a guard checking how long cars stay there. Thank you for reading my review. Delicious! Everything was absolutely fantastic. The chicken is the most flavorful I've had in ages. The hummus is incredibly tasty and has a wonderfully velvety texture—it's truly addictive. My favorite dish is the beef lule platter, and it's definitely worth trying! It comes with a side of hummus and cucumber salad, which is amazing. I also sampled the cabbage salad, and it was delightful! If you want to skip the line and the wait, I recommend calling ahead to place your order—it’s much faster!
I am a huge fan of kebabs, and I truly enjoy dining at this restaurant. I particularly appreciate the grilled tomatoes, the meat is cooked to perfection, and the rice is flavorful and expertly prepared. A big thank you to Señor Jose for introducing me to this place!
I had a very unpleasant experience at this restaurant last night and ended up getting food poisoning. The chicken I ordered appeared to be poorly prepared and might not have been handled in a sanitary manner. I certainly won't be going back to this restaurant.
The portion was quite small! I'm not sure if that's because it was a delivery order, but the piece of chicken I received was very tiny. I would suggest visiting in person to make a purchase instead. Book a table now
This is the best Middle Eastern food in the Los Angeles area! I really enjoy the Chicken Shawarma, Hummus, Tabbouleh, and Salad. I highly recommend giving it a try.
