Where do I even begin? I had the most wonderful experience visiting Zest for NYE dinner! Johnny was our waiter and he was kind, attentive and patient. Our water never had a moment to reach the bottom of our glasses before refilled. The prefix menu for the evening offered outstanding options and every entree was bursting with flavor. The most grateful piece of the evening- upon confirming my reservation the day prior, I spoke with Jackie on the phone. We chatted a bit and I let her know that it was my birthday and would so appreciate a table with a great view. Service, location, drinks and appetizers were all fabulous. However, for 3 of the 4 of us, our meals were over salted. 2 of us had the special of the day with fresh made pasta. I think perhaps the pasta was the culprit, perhaps the water it was cooked in was too salty. My spouses airline chicken was a bit dry. The person with the steak cut said it was perfect. I think we might try again another time with different entrees or just have drinks and appetizers, which were great.
Came on a whim on NYE, the bartender was awesome. The cocktails hit every time. We had the duck dumplings and the bisque. Both were 10/10. I will come back even though the entrées are a little overpriced imo. The crab spring rolls are also my favorite because of the sauce the come with. Never get rid of that sauce. It was a great New Years staff was great! Food was fantastic the only thing I will say is we were seated in a room off of the main restaurant. Other than the food the best part of the restaurant is the views and the ambiance. It felt like we were put in a corner and not even in the same restaurant.
