This was my first time dining at this Chinese restaurant, and it may also be my last. The shrimp lo mein contained no more than eight shrimp, which was disappointing. Additionally, the egg foo young had eggshells in every bite—something I've never encountered at any other Chinese restaurant. The customer service was also lacking.
The food was just average—nothing special to write home about. I guess it's best to stick with familiar choices. The cheese steak egg rolls had an odd flavor, almost as if they contained some mysterious type of meat, and they were also quite greasy. I don’t think I’ll be trying them again.
1st time eating at this particular Chinese food place and maybe my last. Shrimp lo mein had no more than 8 shrimp. Egg Foo young had egg shells in every bite and I've never experienced that at any other Chinese food place. Customer service wasn't so greateither.
I ordered chicken and fries, but the chicken was yellow, which made me feel sick. I'll give the Chinese food a try before leaving a negative review, but I definitely won’t order the chicken again. Chicken shouldn’t be yellow. Book a table now
I got 2 Orange chickens and one general chicken. All 3 were horrible, It tasted like they just rewarmed the chicken up and reserved it. The sauce for all 3 meals was horrible as well. I would not purchase here again.
My food was terrible and overcooked, lacking any flavor. The lo mein was also overcooked, and the egg foo young was just awful. The food used to be delicious under the old owners, but now it’s really disappointing.
The prices are excessively high for the quality of food offered; it's nothing special. I wouldn't advise spending your money at this place.
My experience at Zheng's is always nice and my order is always correct. This is the only take-out chiense place I eat from on Liberty Road. Book a table now
