Just another pretend chez chic menu and prices that failed to deliver. Food nicely presented, if only the taste was as good. I thought the Zouz Burger read well. Piled high in a soft bun, with more bread crumbs than meat. One cut of the patty an it fell apart and was over spiced. $18.90, really. Oh no, guess what, there was Smashed Avocado on the menu, well what else who you expect. A Caesar Salad was chosen by my wife and whilst tasty, it was so small we thought of stopping somewhere on the way home to get something to eat. So if you like trendy food that looks nice on the plate and you are not hungry, this is for you. We will not be returning.
We had a quick lunch for 3 and were impressed with the service, atmosphere and food. My partners had an open smoked salmon and avocado sandwich and eggs Benedict respectively; I finished every morsel of my hash brown stack, complete with mushrooms, halloumi, poached egg and tomato. Everything looked fresh, tasted delicious, all served with a smile. I indulged in a glass of bubbles, French, which was cheaper than local wine - winner! The table adjacent to us was occupied by a group of ladies celebrating a birthday and they seemed very happy with the venue too. We'll be back.
Menus are photocopied and the dinner selection was limited, fish and chips, a couple of seafood dishes and the breakfast menu looked reasonable, but nothing stood out. Service was absent minded - asking whether we needed glasses for wine and little knowledge of gluten free options and desserts has spent quite some time in the cabinet. Won't visit again.
Always a pleasure to visit for either just coffee but also meals. The service is good with plenty of waiters hovering for orders. The coffee is really good and today we just added poached eggs on toast. They came exactly as we wanted. It is fairly quiet for talking and there are plenty of newspapers available.

Returned after a year or so .... and the food quality, ambience and service remains at a very high standard. The calamari is particularly good ... and all other dishes received high accolades. A great value-for-money restaurant which should be on every body's list!!
We enjoyed our brunch and coffee in the quietest of those kinda shops in this area, making conversation easier. With it being in a slightly larger area it would also be easier to talk business, confide in others of have conversation with those who battle to hear.
I was catching up with a friend I hadn't seen in a year. Zouz Cafe had new owners since i last had lunch there. The food is great, as are the wines. Customer service was outstanding. Yes, I have used many superlatives, but they are well deserved.
Just a quick stop for coffee and a rest 3.5km into a long morning walk. Coffee is great, very hard to resist the amazing range of snacks. Open early so suits our timing. Service fantastic.

This is a small cafe that is frequented by locals and business people. One staff member, Paul, has been there for approx 8 years. The food is good quality and the prices are reasonable.
My wife and I enjoyed lunch with our sons and one partner. Excellent eatery with a good choice of menu and friendly, helpful staff
