I was here and was quite hungry. So first I ordered a Matjes , a special fish dish from Northern Germany. This indeed was very good. But then I ordered a onion schnitzel with chips. It comes nearly swimming in oil, so the taste was only fat and oil. The prices are unbeatable low as all other contributors confirm. Conclusion is I will go again to Parkhotel restaurant 500 m away for having a brillant schnitzel. Okay, the price will be more as double but that 's worth the quality.
We went here for lunch and had a table in their charming outdoor seating area. It is a traditional German restaurant, which naturally serves traditional German dishes. Prices are very affordable, so the price-performance ratio is very good. Service is friendly. A recommended place in the centre of Andernach.
Came here as the price for the steaks was very reasonable. We were not disappointed as our meals were very good. The steak was very good as the carvings in mushroom sauce. Unfortunately, the service was a little slow.
Less than 7euros for traditional jeans carving with frits and salad. Big potion. Delicious food and friendly service.
