In our recent trip to Europe we end up in Rastatt where we find this little germ hotel/restaurant Zum Lowen. You could not ask for a better location 10 minutes to Baden-Baden, 25 minutes to Strasbourg and Achern. Our room was clean, fair size with a nice bathroom and a free WIFI and of course we didn't pay a fortune for it. The restaurant downstairs offers a breakfast and dinner. Bobby and Nicole are the owner of the place, Bobby is the chef and if you like a good eating and a big portion with good quality home style cooking than this is the place to go. Beruflich verbringe ich seit vielen Jahren mehrere Wochen im Jahr in Rastatt.Seit seiner Wiedereröffnung ist der Löwe meine neue Lieblingsadresse in Rastatt.Neben dem guten Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnisses ist es vor allem die Fam. Müller selbst,die mit ihrer herzlichen Art und einem tollen Service in kurzer Zeit mein zu Hause in Rastatt geworden ist. Wer nur etwas essen möchte ist hier auch Goldrichtig.Neben der gut sortierten Karte gibt es noch die Tageskarte die stets für Abwechslung sorgt.Egal was ich bislang hier aß,war stets lecker und ordentlich portioniert. Ich war erst vor kurzen dort und es war sehr voll aber dies störte mich nicht da ich mich im resaurant sehr wohl fühlte. Die ambiente war ausgezeichnet. Die Kellnerin war sehr Höfflich und Gesprächlich was mich sehr Gefreut hat : sie bediente mich zügig und das Essen war auch sehr schnell da. Regional cooking done well, I really liked the Käsespatzel. Not too expensive. Parking can be a problem during the day.
