This place came highly recommended by locals and we could not have been happier that we took the long cab ride from the city center to try Zum Rad. Quaint location and property. Wonderful staff who helped us navigate the menu despite our language barrier....Delicious food, not a bad dish was ordered among three of us. Can't beat the reasonable prices, either. Highly recommended.
The battle plate is not recommended. The liver sausage smells musty and tastes like it too. The black pudding and the cooked sting taste good. The mashed potatoes are okay too. friends brought us to this great German beer garden and we were very happy to sit there with other great loud groups that enjoy the traditional ambiente, the kitchen and the apple wine. in any case worth a visit.
