Indeed, there were many people around and almost all tables were busy. We wanted just to order some drinks and try famous apple wine. We didn't had plan to eat as we were shortly after breakfast in hotel. When the waitress came to take our order and we ordered drinks she asked us if we want something to eat. We told that no and then she told very rude way with ugly face that "THIS IS THE RESTAURANT". Am Wochenende war ich als Frankfurterin mal wieder im Standesämtchen, dieses Mal draußen. Hier sind neben Touristen auch viele einheimische Stammgäste anzutreffen. Nicht nur wegen der sehr zentralen Lage zwischen Schirn, neuer Altstadt, Römerberg und Main, auch wegen dem leckeren Essen, dem schönen Fachwerkambiente und dem netten und hilfsbereiten Servicepersonal. Und ich war wie immer sehr begeistert: sehr aufmerksame Bedienungen trotz vollbesetzter Tische, schöne frische Blumen auf den Tischen. Ich habe mich sehr wohl gefühlt. Nach einem schönen Tag in Frankfurt, wollten wir diesen mit einem leckeren Essen abschließen. Wir entschieden uns für das Restaurant 'Zum Standesämtchen ' direkt auf dem Römer. Wir hatten Glück und bekamen einen schönen Platz auf der Terrasse, mit tollem Blick. Ich aß den gratinierten Ziegenkäse mit Salat, welcher sehr lecker war! Die Kellner waren freundlich und schnell und die Hygiene (gerade jetzt in Zeiten von Corona) top. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist meiner Meinung nach, für ein Restaurant in der Frankfurter Altstadt angemessen.

the local is very well known for tourists, therefore very well visited. I've eaten very well a few years ago. that I was alone in the evening (after a very long day of travel) I wanted to have something deft with a good beer. puste cake, guests alone are unfriendly chased! either to fourth or unfortunately there is no table. a groundless cheerfulness, and if you ask for a responsible one, the crawling and that was it. for me, this belongs locally boycotted, because it is a floorless rudeness to treat a gast as dirt.
after a nice day in frankfurt we wanted to finish this with a delicious meal. we chose the restaurant for the stallesämtchen directly at the römer. we had luck and got a nice place on the terrace, with great view. I ate the gratined goat cheese with salad, which was very delicious! the waiters were friendly and fast and the hygiene (also now in times of corona) top. the price-performance ratio is according to my opinion appropriate, for a restaurant in the francfurter old town.
Sehr leckeres Essen wir hatten das Frankfurter Schnitzel mit Grüne Soße und Bratkartoffeln. Sehr lecker und auf jeden Fall weiter zu empfehlen. Die Bedienung war auch sehr freundlich und interessiert und gab uns Tipps für Frankfurt. Das Lokal ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet mit frischen Blumen auf den Tischen und selbst das Waschbecken auf der Toilette war mit frischen Blumen dekoriert.
A Restaurant in a top location, top food, top service but not a top Price. Nice supprise. Schnitzel & Chips+an excellent salad my wife had Boiled beef in green Sauce with vegetables. A glass of local cider Or Apfelwoi great.

Schöner Tag in Frankfurt mit Jägerschnitzel am Römer. Das Essen im 'Standesämtchen ' war sehr gut und die Lage ist einzigartig. (Blick auf den Römer) Sehr saubere Toilette und ein hervorragender Service.
Busy restaurant on good location. Nothing special here, staff is polite and food is good. Reasonable prizes. Good place for lunch or beer.
