Unfortunately, this was not the first time that we were disappointed in the Käsmühle. The waitresses were overwhelmed not unfriendly. We weren't asked if we want a second drink or if everything is fine. Our table next door, who ordered after us, got the food half an hour before us! And we had children with us. Sure, you can ignore it or open your mouth yourself BUT it wasn't the first time that neither my husband nor I could not stand the food. The plates were dirty and you lost your appetite. It was our first visit to the Käsmühle, but unfortunately it wasn't convincing, I admit that I didn't read the self-service sign. However, nobody would have come to point this out to us. After a certain time, in which we were noticed, we got up by ourselves and switched to the service area. But we only saw that through observation and switched. The service was also very nice. But I would have liked some nice information beforehand. The food was okay, but not so that we would come again. It is certainly wonderful to sit outside in summer but not our taste
Dined here with a tour group. We felt as if we were dining out in the country at a farm. We started with a carrot/ginger soup. I was skeptical at first, but it was very tasty and left me wanting more. For my entree, I had Jagerschnitzel, whch was very well done and extremely tasty. My husband had a salad. It was large and had grilled chicken breast on it. Dessert was a Bavarian cream with red currants. Friendly staff too. I doubt that I'll ever return (I'm from the USA), but f I were given the chance, I'd love to dine here again.
According to the nice weather, we decided for beer garden outside of the city. The menu itself was offering a variety of different dishes and the food we ordered was ok, but not very special. Really annoying were the mosquitos we had to move inside. The situation was topped by one of the waitresses passing behind me, she let the tablet, which was full of used plates, fall and one of the plates really hit my backbone no excuse. Unbelievable...

For many years I have always enjoyed coming to the Käsmühle. Whether as a couple or in a large group, everything has always worked out. Home-style German-Hessian cuisine but not boring and always very tasty at reasonable prices and always very nice service, what more could you want
Rustic ambience in a lively family atmosphere. You can talk undisturbed and loudly because everyone does it. The food was very good, the salad could use a little more dressing. Meat cooked very well. The service was extremely friendly and quick and courteous
The food here is out of this world.The location is a little strange. You drive down this narrow street thinking you are going to end out at a farm or on a field with cows! There are no signs as you drive in but the food and service is out of this world.
As always, it was delicious. The grandparents, parents and the son were satisfied when you left. The service was very nice. Great outside area. Brook nearby. Great to stop by
