Wir waren am 15.08. mit 4 Erwachsenen im Gastgarten und wurden sehr freundlich begrüßt und zum Platz geleitet. Der anschließende, sehr freundliche und sympathische Service war etwas, was man sonst in Berlin leider nur zu selten findet und wir sind oft in Berlin, haben sogar einige Jahre in Berlin gelebt. Die auf der Kreidetafel aufgeführten, traditionellen Berliner Speisen mit extravaganten Zutaten wurden erläutert. Wir haben vier verschiedene Gerichte probiert, alle waren schön hergerichtet und sehr schmackhaft. It is very comfortable, the food was very tasty, the service nimble and attentive. Here you would not want to leave so quickly. Reservations are mandatory if you want to get to know this historical restaurant in Berlin. A very nice place indeed, with a great, cozy atmosphere and, if you're someone that values historical old fashioned places, amazing experience. It is not the cheapest of places, but definitely not expensive. The food is very good and I highly recommend the Eisbein - though I have to say it was not the best I've ever had and portions were somewhat small. But very good nonetheless.
Einen großartigen ersten Abend auf unserer Berlin-Reise hatten wir der typischen Berliner Küche der Letzten Instanz zum Einen, zum Anderen aber auch der tollen, verbindlichen Art von Kellner Jan zu verdanken. Nachdem wir uns zu viert quer durch die Speisenkarte gegessen haben können wir sagen, das alle Gerichte frisch zubereitet, von sehr guter Qualität, typisch und sehr lecker waren. Wir hatten einen unterhaltsamen, spaßigen Abend und kommen gerne wieder!
