This is our host's favourite restaurant, right in the centre of Konstanz- and I can understand why. It has a very old worlde feeling, it's quite dark, there is a good atmosphere and the tables are cosy and comfortable. Our waitress was very friendly and luckily spoke English which helped a lot! The food was very tasty and a mixture of traditional German and other dishes. Although the service was a little slow, she kept coming to apologise, it wasn't a problem as we were enjoying the atmosphere a lot. We really loved our visit. If you're in Konstanz, I'd recommend you eat here.
The place looks interesting from the outside, so we decided to try the hot stone steaks. The service felt hurried and unfriendly. The place was really hot and had closed all the windows that it felt choking. Drinks were served immediately and soon after we got the steaks. They were quite small for the price and although on the menu said they came with 3 different sauces, in reality there were 3 different flavored butter servings.

nice attentive staff. pizza with thin floor very crispy and tasty. a little more spicy on it would have been rounding. the homemade rösti with swung is a bit hard on the salt but otherwise absolutely fluffy
are long mistaken by constanz to eat something and then spontaneously set us before the restaurant - great coincidence. two-bellied roasts with russian riesenrösti was super - like again.
The hot stone is here THE food. And yes, the meat was super delicious. The Rösti too. A star trigger for the sleepy service. Because at 6:00 there wasn't really full yet.
Friendly service however nothing special. But the good was okay for the price. You could say that it might be a bit overpriced as it is a average place.
