The atmosphere was quite unfriendly. There was a clear sign on the window stating that Hawaiian Matsu was $2.00. I pointed to it and ordered, thinking that meant one piece along with a side of macaroni. However, I was charged $4.75 for the Matsu. When I inquired about the nearly $8 total, I received a rude response stating that the price had changed. The new price was posted at the top, not on the side poster by the counter. I had dined here twice before, and the staff was consistently unfriendly. I won't be returning.
This place is set up like old school wienerschnitzel. You walk up and order at the window. The place is pretty run down. The menu and all the signs are starting to fade from exposure to sunlight. None of the prices on the drink menu are even legible anymore. There outdoor seating. One of the table is missing it's top.As for the food, I ordered a Loco Moco. The gravy was too thick. Also, ordered a smoothie, but it was more like a slushie (no dairy product), and it was not blend very well.
I have a gluten allergy, and there was a misunderstanding with my order, but they corrected it cheerfully! They also made sure to clean the ordering area after each customer. They even attempted to refund me for the cost of the dish I ordered! The fried fish and shrimp plate looked incredible, but unfortunately, I couldn't eat it due to my allergy. That was a bit disappointing. Overall, this place is fantastic and serves food made fresh to order!
Horrible service from owner that took my order. Very stingy with their teriyaki sauce, I ordered 2 plates and she only gave me 2 sauces, charged me for the extra sauces I asked for. I'll never come back to this place!

Honestly the Asian lady is very hostile. I been coming here and now that I was trying to buy a plate that says $2 extra for short ribs she keeps trying to say $4 extra. Weird lady..
FOOD COOKED the moment you order worth the wait . Kid-friendliness: She greets you says Hello takes order and starts cooking. Great Customer service and great Quality of food
The food was decent, but I expected it to be better. Honestly, the sauce that was meant to be teriyaki didn't taste like it at all, and the chicken ended up being dry.
I asked for extra Sriracha and the lady said she put enough in the bag which she didn't wasn't going to argue but I will take my business
