Found this place on a stop over in Chicago. I absolutely loved it! Best marinara sauce EVER! I have been looking and tasting sauces ever since I was a teen and we moved away from my favorite Italian restaurant in CA. I have never found the “right” taste until we happened upon Abruzzo's! We ordered the grilled calamari which I don't recommend at all, it came in a way I ddnt expect.. the main entree (fettuccine alfredo chicken marsala) was okay the tiramisu tasted like it's been stored in the fridge longer than it should. There's a huge crowd of ppl that supposedly love this place, our bill came up to $89 tip but I don't think we'll be back

I have been nothing but impressed with the food, drinks, service, and environment of Abruzzo's Italian Restaurant. The cocktails are phenomenal, the area is an amazing place to relax and chill, and the staff are friendly and attentive. Definitely check out this place if you are in the area.
The food is fresh and delicious. Prices are reasonable and portions are generous. The place is lively and fun. Kris was our server, he was attentive, amusing and helpful. This is a friendly and welcoming place that won't disappoint.

Delicious food. Very large portions. Great friendly service. Very nice outdoor patio. Parking lot is tiny but lots of street parking. Reasonable prices.

Great pizza, little expensive but as someone who is lactose intolerant, it is the one pizza that has done the least damage to my stomach.
