I ordered food through Uber Eats during my 12-hour shift as a nurse, and it was my only chance to sit down and enjoy a meal. Unfortunately, the food was terrible. I got a falafel wrap, fries, and a soda. The soda (in a can) was fine, but the falafel and fries tasted old and like they had been refried. The sauce was sour and seemed spoiled, and the veggies (lettuce and tomatoes) had a bitter taste. The bread was hard and stale. I paid over $27 for this awful meal!
It was alright. I ordered the Kofta, which is a satisfying meal if you're really hungry, but I probably wouldn't make a special trip for it. The flavor was decent, but it wasn't as juicy as I expected, especially considering it's ground beef and should be the juiciest option on the menu. It's hard to put into words, but the atmosphere felt somewhat lacking, and that seemed to translate into the food as well.
I was very disappointed with the food, especially the falafel, which tasted reheated and not fresh. A few hours later, I ended up with a stomach ache. I had a terrible experience here. The staff was not friendly, and the TV was too loud. It took 30 minutes for our food to arrive, and it didn't taste fresh at all. Overall, the atmosphere was quite unwelcoming. I would rate the food, service, and atmosphere all 1 out of 5 stars. Book a table now
Every time we order, the food is absolutely delicious! I'm especially fond of the kefta, and the hummus is packed with flavor. This is our favorite spot for Middle Eastern cuisine in San Diego!
