the Indian restaurant annapura is located in the pedestrian area of chamonix, mt. white, france. It will be easily spotted by strolling along this pedestrian area. As his name suggests, he only serves Indian food. While I was in town for 3 days, my family and I went there twice for lunch and dinner respectively. It indicated enough that the food served was up to our expectations. We have tasted its curry of vegetables, its yellow curry of chicken and its black curry of lamb accompanied by a tasty briyani rice. As noted above, all these dishes have met our expectations. The food was correct, the staff was very unpleasant! insisted that we order all the dishes together, while we were still deciding the entries. the place was not even occupied with many empty tables. I felt like they wanted to turn the table quickly, even if they had no one waiting and a lot of free tables. need a significant improvement in service before they can be recommended.
beautiful Indian restaurant located in the city center of chamonix. with regard to taste, it is not the authentic taste that we get indensed. but I suppose that is the case for most Indian restaurants in europe. So everyone should be prepared when visiting an Indian restaurant. Taste is not bad but again not great. We were refused to be chapati saying they had no wheat flour.
Although it's very busy, friendly staff found us a table outside. we are very happy that they did it - a delicious cuisine with a very good service. It's worth a visit! Bhajis onion are really tasty and the vegetarian tray made a nice change because I was able to taste several different dishes!

food is good (not excellent), service is correct, location is very convenient and there is a view on the white mountain if you sit outside. high kitchen is not - but prices are therefore reasonable. We go there at least twice a day each year.
If you want Indian cuisine, the restaurant annapurna will satisfy this desire. It's not the most memorable Indian food we ate, but it was pretty good. staffing was a little uneven - some servers were very friendly; others significantly less.
