Whilst in Chamonix last week we booked a table at this restaurant, two people having risotto did not get their food untill the other eight of us had finished the main course. When I challenged the lady owner she shrugged her shoulders and said what...do you expect it's risotto and then turned her back on me. The lovely waitress did her best but obviously has has to deal with this on many occassions. The wine is furiously expensive and the sommelier seemed unsure of what he was doing. Needless to say we did not pay for the risotto. Dont bother with this place we will never return.
The bolognese was flavorless and too salty. The next day I ordered the same dish in at a restaurant in Cormeyeur and it was spectacular. Most of the food we ordered was mediocre. The waiter seemed too rushed to understand what we were asking for,...and as a result made mistakes. The pizzas at another table looked very good. During our meal an incredibly rude woman, probably an owner, started grabbing things off the table and bumped into one of us without an apology. She was probably hurrying us out the door, which was extra stupid since we were waiting for our check.

that is about its place in chamonix. No matter what choice of restaurants they make, they need reservations in advance or they can be forced to eat in the evening South American style in the night. “It was just our prejudice. we were randomly walking... about the lunchtime and asking for reservations. the best they could do was what they read above. it was worth waiting. good, traditional Italian food with a northern Italian swirl. rich menu. they could only improve their weeping list a bit. the place was super busy when we were close, all the tables were full.
I got the wrong pizza and made to believe I made the mistake. we have changed wein, but no new glasses were offered, although our glasses had a lot of sediment. at the end we were asked twice within a minute of the waiter and then by the manager if we wanted to dessert when we had just told them we wanted more time. they wanted to get rid of us. that is not a cheap restaurant. I was halfway through my dessert when we were asked if we were done. we would not have been expelled from mcdonalds.
sometimes they just need a simple, high-quality eating with bright and cheerful service. If you want that, you found your casa. the pizza is delicious (in contrast to many of its competitors), handmade dough right into the pizza over, the pasta...(I had the truffle linguini twice) superb, wein was good price and the waiter recommendation absolutely on point. I did not recommend any reservations about getting a reservation here!

Great food, poor service. If you like Italian food this place is excellent. However, how did they manage to forget one starter and then one main course? They apologised profusely and in all fairness did not charge the forgotten dishes. But you’d like to get...your dishes at the same time and not minutes apart. Hint to waiters: Repeat orders back to customers.
Good Italian restaurant with a wide selection of interesting dishes. Famous for its excellent and imaginative pizzas but also good for pasta and veal dishes. Attentive and professional service. Most dishes well priced.
