Good, but not legendary. Grade: B-/C+The restaurant's reputation is evident by the line of people waiting to get in the door. Clean and efficient hard to do for the amount of business they do they manage to seat people with as little wait as possible and to accommodate the take away crowd with similar speed. As far as the food, a mixed review from our group. One thought it the best fish chips outstanding, and the crisp chips the best he'd ever had. Another that the fish was crisp, not greasy, and that the oil and batter didn't overpower the taste of the fish itself. I, too, liked the crisp batter, but it seemed to me as if it needed to be hit with salt the moment it came out of the fryer, as...

What a place! I was super impressed by the quality of the food and, although there’s a high chance you’ll have to stand and wait for a while, it’s well worth it. The fish is fresh, the batter isn’t oily (I’ve never had non-oily batter before and this was incredible and the chips were chunky and delicious. The whole meal comes with bread and butter as well as a hot drink and there is an option to order sides. I also want to note that the portions are huge; well worth the price! After our fish we share some strawberries and ice cream which is home made and nothing short of amazing. Overall a blooming good spot for those who LOVE their fish and chips and well worth waiting in a queue for.

we traveled from the weekend to the anstruther to treat us from here to some of the beautiful fish and chips. the sun seemed, it was a bit cool in the wind, but don't stop sitting outside, even the dogs were drowned. and it was good the waiting time in the long waiting queue, which was minimal min, but they were as lush as we last remembered them to be about years ago. the teig was perfectly crispy, not greasy, but also not too dry. the fish itself could no longer have been fresh, it was really delicious, moist and tasty. the chips were also large, even not fat and not too dry. in any case, worth traveling, and the dogs agreed, they also loved it.

excellent fish and chips. smoked makrele and the grilled tinten fish are really good if they are not like deep fried Causes. also the ice creams are excellent. the place is super busy at any time, so ready to wait for a bit before they are served there paid parking directly on the road so very convenient when they come in a car.
