Went there recently on a recommendation of a friend. From the time we were seated until the time the waiter took our initial drinks order was about 12 minutes and then the wait started, After about 40 minutes the entrees arrived and were delicious (but I questioned why it took so long to arrive) and then we waited, and waited, and waited for the main - over an hour. One of us ordered the lamb (which we could have caught, slaughtered and cooked in the time we were waiting) and after sitting there for so long, the waiter came and told us 4-5 minutes for the mains. 4-5 minutes came and went and after 14-15 minutes the mains arrived. From the front of house to where the masterpieces happen, Antoine's's delivers on taste and service with a smile. To Antoine, thank you for the many years of great French food. Your desire to excel and push the balance of French with modern elements has been an absolute pleasure to enjoy! And to French David - a man at front of house who has made the return trips worth the while (even for our last trip from the Blue Mountains) before you close your doors and move on to bigger and better things closer to the city. Pretty average, overall unremarkable! Contrary to some other diner's review, the service we have was quite good - 4/5. Food was average 3/5 though, we have whole duck cooked in 2 ways - the grilled breast was good, but the legs were overcooked and the wing part was tough and possibly undercooked a bit. Ambience was average 3/5. Table setting is not ideal for large party; small party of 4 to 6 should be better.
Walked into the restaurant not even 930pm and the waitress informed that the kitchen had closed. I told her that the restaurant showed opening hours till 11pm, she continued to tell me that it depends on how busy they are. Was looking forward to this, now we'll probably never come back - they obviously don't want to serve customers unless it suits them.

What a great find, walking distance from home at 139 Concord Rd, North Strathfield NSW 2137. we had dinner there of Friday night. Absolutely fabulous, it was good good we booked a table for 8 in a coulee of weeks.The prices are very reasonable, the wine list is very good, BYO on Wed / Thurs.Looking forward to our next visit
$98 for the dish above that barely fed one person. All this after waiting 30mins just for someone to take our order and then over an hour for our medium steak to come out! Such poor service - we needed to get up every time we wanted the waitress because she was waiting on over 10 tables divided inside and outside the store.
Came here the other night. Seated indoors it was still a bit cold inside. Regardless the food and service here was amazing. The place has a unique vibe which made it quite enjoyable. Found all round was great and even the look of food on surrounding tables looked very appetising. Will be back to try more.
This restaurant was a great surprise! Everything was so delicious, scallops, truffled mash potato, steak cooked to perfection. I'm a dessert lover, and the one I had (creme brûlée ice cream + orange liquor) was absolutely amazing! I do recommend and I'm coming back soon.

Birthday dinner for two members of our family on a Sunday night. Food was excellent and service was friendly and efficient. Would definitely recommend this restaurant.
