I absolutely love Anyetsang's! The atmosphere is so authentic, with the waitstaff dressed in traditional Tibetan attire, and the decor is rich in cultural significance. Even with so many amazing Thai and Indian restaurants in the area, I always choose to dine at Anyetsang's because the chef is Tibetan. The food is incredibly delicious, and the service is excellent. I also appreciate that the vegan and vegetarian options are clearly labeled. While I can't remember the Tibetan names for everything, I ordered the tofu Tibetan noodle soup and the cauliflower and carrot momos (dumplings), and I couldn't recommend it more!
I truly wish HappyCow would award this restaurant five stars. The schogo balay, yellow curry, temo sha tsel with tofu, saag sabji, shogo knödel, tsel knödel, tofu kham amdo stew, and the complimentary house salad/lentil soup are all vegan! The yellow curry and the knödel are my absolute favorites.
This little restaurant has really taken my top spot for best restaurants in Bloomington. My order is always the same, momo dumplings, and mango lassi. 10/10 Please try this restaurant and support local! Amazing. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $10–20
I've sampled a few dishes, and everything has been excellent. They clearly know their way around spicy cuisine, and their soups are fantastic as well. Overall, I would rate the food a 5 and the service a 5 for dining in.
