Went for Saturday lunch. Arrived 12ish and were given both lunch breakfast menus yay for no 'breakfast ends at 11 ' rules! I had breakfast bowl Bircher and granola with yoghurt, rhubarb Apple $10) and hubby had the pulled pork burger/sandwich? $14). We both loved our dishes. <br/ <br/ Felt like dessert so had spiced carrot walnut liked it) and salted caramel hazelnut slice LOVED IT). Desserts were a little expensive $6.50 for small cake) but worth it.<br/ <br/ There were a few specials that I think change weekly, this is a plus for us as we often do brunch out on weekends and like to have new choices...<br/ <br/ Tried cold drip coffee for the first time it was weirdly good will definitely ha...
I have never had a negative experience at this restaurant. The coffee is excellent and the baristas are professional. One even surprised me by serving a small glass of mineral water with my espresso, which is rare in Australia. I was impressed.
They offer several gluten-free options and serve a delicious bacon and egg roll in the mornings with provolone relish, which is occasionally a guilty pleasure of mine.
I have not tried their lunch menu, but the prices seem reasonable and there is a variety of options to satisfy most tastes. Overall, I believe it is a fantastic establishment in the Gymea area.
I’m definitely not a coffee aficionado, but I do know when a coffee doesn’t taste as good as ASB! And I’ve tried so many in the area and I just keep coming back to ASB religiously. I now don’t go anywhere else unless I’m out of the area and, begrudgingly, have to. I have no idea how they actually do it. It’s literally a work of art. It’s where my mouth goes to party. But also more than just coffee, Ben, Gi and the staff are so warm and welcoming and their friendly faces are life itself. If I ever move out of the area Apex will be one of the things I miss the most.
Recommend for any one that would like too drink a coffee. Not only for take away, but also too have it in the restaurant. You can get it served with a really nice lunch or breakfast. The staff is really friendly and know what you want already after the second time you come there. So if you in Gymea and you are hungry or you just want a really good coffee. Go here!

Been here for breakfast several times, both times very impressed!Tables and staff are a little hit and miss they need more tables but more importantly more space!My veg breakfast with bacon (haha) was amazing, tasty, filling and made me very happy. My friends ordered the museli and the pancakes both to cries of delight!Good coffee and will be back
As a coffee enthusiast, I have visited many coffee shops and I must say that this place has the best filter coffee. I have been a regular here for years. Today, I decided to just order their delicious plain croissant without the coffee, but they surprised me by bringing out a complimentary cup of coffee. Thank you Ben, G J. You truly made my day.
The coffee is fantastic, the food is delicious, and the staff is friendly and polite. Overall, it was a great experience at this café. I am very thankful to have such a wonderful place nearby.
Great service, table orders would make it more of an experience. The feta and avo smash is to die for with the balsamic glaze. Everyone friendly and welcoming. Will be going back for sure.

Amazing food and exceptional coffee, which I personally can't seem to find any better coffee, as well as friendly staff who always make feel welcome especially as a regular.
Very good service was quick very friendly they don't hurry u when they are closing.
