We dined at the spacious, well-ventilated, pet-friendly bar on two occasions and both were very enjoyable. The servings were generous and of high quality, and a slightly undercooked steak was promptly replaced without any issues. The pork belly in Thai broth was exceptionally delicious, although the addition of a poached egg to the dish seemed unnecessary. We were disappointed to find that they had run out of Sunday roasts when we arrived at 3:00 pm, but we had been warned about this the day before. visited on a Saturday night after reading the reviews on tripadvisor and we were not dissapointed. I had the beetroot soup, which was just divine, lamb shank for porn, beautiful soft meat, just fell off the bone and the warm pecan tart for dessert, which was fabulous. my partner had the pate, steak and cheeseboard he enjoyed. reasonable price list. the personal was free and welcoming, could not have been asked better.
we were in the two story buildings behind the pub itself. very clean and bright room, although the bed was somewhat unpleasant. very nice rain shower in the bathroom. both dinner and breakfast were very nice and well cooked. service also good. real ale that we. and beautiful pub atmosphere. recommend a friendly pub.
My partner and I were hoping to have a great meal, but unfortunately, this is a restaurant I would not recommend. The bread was stale and it was clear that little effort goes into preparing and presenting the dishes. The staff may have been friendly and fast, but the food fell short of expectations.
