Had dinner with my wife here last night, a place we have frequented a few times as its local. Most choices were OK but one that we ordered (slow braised octopus) was very ordinary. When the waiter asked if everything was OK, we'd left the dish uneaten as the octopus was soggy (watery)and had no flavour whatsoever, she dismissed this as irrelevant given it was a slow braised dish??? I challenged her "opinion" that was how it was supposed to be and again she pretty much wasn't interested and dismissed our complaint. Went there on the half price special restaurant week. We had 3 entree and 2 mains and 1 side dish. The veal toung is not fresh, you can tell from its texture and taste. The scallop ceviche is refreshing and pungent taste. The chef in this restaurant seems to love acidity in the dishes too much, all the meals have a strong acid taste. My dining partner did not like it, but I am ok with it. The duck liver pate is good but not great. The mains are well cooked however the ingredients are not of high standard. On overalls, the food is worth a visit during restaurant week.

Restaurant is a hidden gem in the area. Beautiful sandstone walls and quite intimate but quiet. The food is very high quality and it is a very good restaurant for a reliable nice dinner venue. The steaks are great and usually the menu contains four mains (a lamb dish, fish, beef and vegetarian) plus some specials. Can book on Dimmi which is also a huge plus. The steak was very large but is hiding in the photo I uploaded.

Nice venue and great service. The wagyu beef rump was recommended by others so I gave it a try. It's all good until I saw it on the plate, the steak was cut into 4 pieces, and the openings were already showing signs of drying (our table had 6 dishes arrived, so I assumed it was cut and sitting in a warning place while waiting for other dishes to be ready). Other than that, it was all good.
