So me and a couple of friends went to try this place out, we arrived at around it was pretty busy but we didn't expect to be there for more than After waiting half an hour a member of staff finally took our order after i had reminded him repeatedly. Have been here a couple of times, had no problem with the chefs or the food but the serving staff have been very rude and unprofessional BOTH TIMES, so I would not recommend as it's just so disrespectful to treat paying customers in this way! The waiters always lie and claim there is no family seating available which is absolutely disgusting when you have travelled specifically with family and kids to Small Heath to eat here.They will then redirect you to Al-Rabie restaurant next door instead (which isn't worth visiting) DON'T be fooled, there IS family /private seating at the back of the main dining hall but they don't appear to want to allow everyone to use it. love this place I notice that some reviews were negatiw on the service. I have been here for years and have always experienced a good service?! maybe. deliciously fresh made Middle Eastern food with excellent customer service and a beautiful location at a reasonable price, what could you ask for more? I recommend bathing to anyone who wants to scratch his medium eastern taste bud. we tend to get the mixed...Mezze starter that is in the pictures, and then either the huh and rice, the sea bass or another court. we always leave full rest to have the next day. all this at a reasonable price
Something different best to go mon-thurs for luch menu otherwise prices are high. Service is slow waited an hour for service then had to go up myself to order waiters serve larger tables more and forget the others. Parking and decor is okay and clean. Lamb sharwma is good and soup is worth it. Mezza is to expensive for what you get avoid as its just salad with sour olives with seads.
everyone has his own experience with the staff here, but ive never had a problem. they were always very accentuated and friendly. the best meal had here and that I would come back, is the lamb that is served only from Friday to Sunday. also the chicken and lamb skin are very good. the decor is modest and warm. badrs also offers private dining areas for women and families.
