Had a table within the restaurant, service staff were polite and helpful. Each course arrived timely. Papadums and the side were nice. Chicken Tikka Starter was tasty but unfortunately not hot the portion size was mediocre and side salad was more of a plate decoration. Lamb madras was superb Coconut rice was great too. Nann bread was hot and fresh too. Overall experience was good.
This cozy Indian restaurant located under the arches is a gem. The staff is incredibly helpful and attentive, providing quick service. We phoned in last minute with a request to seat a large group, and they not only accommodated us but also kept the restaurant open after closing time so we could enjoy our meal without feeling rushed. Excellent service! Highly recommend.
I love this place. 2 plain naan, 2 tandoori main and a Bombay potato heaven. The vibe of the local Indian is hard to capture. You need a specific price point and product quality. It can’t be too cheap nor too expensive. The food needs to taste good but not be fancy. Baltizer is a Goldilocks Indian, everything is just right. I only hope it never changes.
If you want a very expensive average Curry, please check out ther Baltizer. The staff are very accommodating and really nice,however, make sure you check your bag and tally it up to the receipt otherwise you might find your £75 takeaway is £10 short of breads. As a restaurant, it's OK, but be prepared to pay a lot of money for OK. Book a table now
Ordered dinner for me and my partner that turn up wrong so made wait for another 10-15 minutes to have the rest of my meal and then found a piece of Metal in my curry. This really turned me off my meal so didn’t eat much dinner. Only got a refund for one meal and a beer.
Not the best to be fair three chilly rating and have kormas the same strength Ordered onion fried rice and and arrive 4 mins after the main curry which always make me think? But hey ho then got the bill with a service charge Never saw that on the menu!!! Avoid
Great food and lovely atmosphere the only thing that let's it down it the vibrations everytime a time comes overhead but that isn't controlled by the restaurant
