My sister was visiting and so we walked across the bridge, around Barangaroo and landed at Banksii for lunch. We arrived early and so managed a waterside table in the sun. We then settled into the phenomenal spritz menu, the palm beach and the Campari went down a little too well. They were great. But the real treat was the set lunch special. Between us we had everything so we could try it all, bread, warm olives, unbelievable puffy gnocchi with spinach and mushrooms, a stunning sausage and coleslaw combo, salad, deconstructed trifle and a delightfully drippy cheese and crackers. And the staff were great, making sure we knew when our ferry was due. What a delicious winter lunch treat.

I had the best experience here, eating was great, but the service of the staff was absolutely excellent. we eat out very often and even in high-end restaurants the service does not have with what we had here. I am in love with the staff,...everyone was so beautiful and helpful and had a positive mood / attitude. is recommended to all my friends. Many thanks for such a great night! Not to mention that I have booked for the wrong night and the lady who served us short blonde tipped haare) managed to ruin us in so that my best friend did not hate me to ruin her birthday dinner!
The food and wine were delicious. What let it down was the service. The maître d’ was so snippy it was obnoxious. Simple mistakes like dishes going to another table, the bar refusing to make an adffogato because it wasn’t on the menu, not being...allowed to sit down when we were 15mins early... no apologies, niceties, just attitude! (not all waitstaff, just managers). Given how many restaurants there are at Barangaroo, I won’t be returning
I visited with work colleagues and we shared a range of dishes selected from the menu. Included were the lamb, the snapper, smoked beetroot salad, oysters and others. It was hard to fault the dishes, all were delicious. Thea, punt of food was just right. The drinks were good. I tried a vermouth (orange flavours) and really enjoyed it. The wine we selected was excellent. I was impressed with the waiting staff. All up a good experience. Book a table now
We went to celebrate a birthday. Our waiter acknowledge the celebration on our arrival. The birthday girl was given complimentary chocolates and voucher on her return and a candle in the dessert (very cute). The staff were very polite and attentive, we sat there for...a long time and we weren't chased out. The food was excellent quality and the drinks were great. Not a cheap place, but it was worth the cost.
Very nice atmosphere sitting outside facing the water view of darling harbour. Very thoughtfull to have shawls avalilable with the dining chairs. Dinner was better than expected, I dont usually eat or finish a dessert, but the truffle bites and chocolate dish dessert I will come back with my friends. Waiting staff were amazing !! Thanks for the hospitality.
tequila daisy is wonderful. modern Mexican comes to sydney! fresh, tasty, authentic, highest quality and excellent value. relaxed, fun, interesting. great staff and service. we loved banksii and so pleased to see that tequila daisy is a wonderful, imaginative and consistently pleasant successor.
I had wonderful eating the spatchcock and my wife, the risotto. all have washed with the excellent polperra pinot gris from mornington peninsula. and thanks for the great service, jeff. Book a table now
Really quite ordinary. It’s a 5 star promise with a 3 star menu and service....a little disappointing and they really could do better I’m afraid

"I was satisfied with the food. Burgers are between $14.90 and $15.90. The drinks are more expensive than other places, and the free Wi-Fi is slow and stops working intermittently."
