The restaurant offers strong internet, high-quality coffee drinks, and a diverse food selection, making it a fantastic spot for lunch. I only wish I could have stayed longer to enjoy some wine. The seating is also quite comfortable. However, the only downside is the limited number of power outlets for those who want to get some work done.
My only concern with Barriques is that some of their baked goods are overcooked. The cookies are often burnt or too well-done. While the scones are excellent, the cookies leave much to be desired.
I always go for the Berry Berry smoothie and the Blackhawk Breakfast bowl with avocados, black bean salsa, toasted pine nuts, and cheddar cheese. It's my favorite choice at this restaurant.

Fun! The staff wears masks, there are plastic dividers, it's not super expensive, and when I went early in the afternoon, there were plenty of tables available.
The Blueberry Mint Iced Tea was amazing. I regularly order their Pesto Grilled Cheese and have loved it since moving to Madison a year ago. Highly recommend.
Their coffee selection is great for coffee lovers, plus they serve breakfast and lunch/dinner. I got a lavender flavored Italian soda with whipped cream.

"We had breakfast here for the past 4 days and I must say it was really good everyday. Though make sure you have some time on your hands as it can be slow at times. Latte and cappuccino were good and the guacamole sandwich which can be customized is really good. Fresh fruits as always and the chef and servers are really friendly and very good. Overall a wonderful experience. Also on a side note: stay at HotelRED and get breakfast at the wise!! Sweet combo!!"
