Beckies used to be our go-to spot for delicious food and great memories. The chicken fried steak and huckleberry pie were always a treat that kept us coming back. However, since new ownership took over, the quality of the menu has drastically declined. The carefully crafted dishes have been replaced with frozen, overpriced options that lack the same care and attention to detail. The new owner's philosophy of not fixing what isn't broken is clearly just a facade. Save yourself the disappointment and avoid this restaurant. The server was nice which was about the best part of our stop there and why I'm giving 2 stars. The food is over priced and not the same price as on the menu so heads up. $12 just for some pre-frozen onion rings when I know a better establishment right in shady cove with hand dipped onion rings for only $4. The burger I got didn't come with any sauces on it, very dry, and not very tasteful but it did come with fries which was $15 for it. My mans burger was $16 with about the same disappointment for that one too. The giant cinnamon roll we got to go was completely solid as a rock on the outside the only edible part was the middle.
This is a typical western-style restaurant in a small town set in a very rural area. We were surprised to find advertisements for Beyond Burgers on every table! We each ordered the 'shroom burger with sautéed mushrooms and slaw, and substituted the Beyond Burger for the beef patty for an additional $2. Just be sure to ask for no mayo as it is not vegan. The burgers were amazing! Unfortunately, none of the pies are vegan.
I stopped here on the way to home from the x-c skiing at the diamond lake. had a crater club sandwich and a delicious ipa. I love the old style dark wood building reminds of the middle century park sevice. had a delicious piece of blueberry cake at home.

The cafe offers brunch only on weekends (at least when we visited), so we tried only their lunch menu which comprises of a few burgers and soup. Their pies are famous in the area and amazing! Don't forget to try their huckleberry pie or huckleberry soda.
we're here today, late hours and no breakfast. no comparison. no homemade chips. fast brote with food quality. icy not served because only coke products have to be. for help. no care. it's terrible under aramark!
just the best cake. incredibly made not too sweet. enjoy excellent and friendly service. Unfortunately, after 100 years the restorer and the environment were sold to a large company.
Great warm place to stop near Crater Lake. We love the atmosphere and the nostalgia. The menu isnt wow worthy but everything I’ve ever had has been decent. The pies are wonderful!
