I don 't think I have ever met a less engaging and bored looking cashier/server in my life. I asked how she was and she replied with 'good '. That 's it. I told her what I wanted, pulled out my card and that 's it . I asked...for a tax invoice and it was like I asked her to write it out. Thankfully the young bloke who brought the food out was fantastic, very happy and engaging a total contrast. The chicken burger was fantastic , albeit a little too oily. I 've had Belles before so I knew what I was getting. It 's consistent at least food wise.
We visited Belles on Barangaroo last Sunday with 6 friends. Service is not available, you need to order on your phone and also pay online, too bad if you want to pay money. When we sat down, it was dark, there is neither upstairs nor on the table, so someone had to hold his torch on the phone while we ordered it. The wings and offers were not great and my Aperol splash tasted down. One of our friends felt sick after that, as the spicy sauce left a bitter taste in his mouth. Make yourself a favor and go to KFC, cheaper, faster and better.
Visited Barangaroo restaurant in Sydney for lunch on a public holiday. At least half the menu had sold out, the online ordering system was not easy to use and staff less than helpful. Once we managed to order at the bar we waited over 40...minutes to receive our meal. Food was ok but overpriced. My highlight was seeing the staff (including the only chef) do shots while we sat unattended with no communication about when we might expect our meal. Don’t bother.
Johnny and Max have given Belles Chicken Tramsheds a bad name. They should be fired and never work there ever. Firstly, these two men are manipulators and liars. Secondly, we waited an hour for our food that never came and their excuse was because they...had lost their docket. Atrocious service by these two guys and I highly recommend to never eat there. Disgusting people. I REPEAT, DO NOT EAT AT BELLES CHICKEN TRAMSHEDS. YOU WILL GET THE WORSE SERVICE.

I ordered a "biodynamic" wine that tasted terrible and didn't resemble wine at all. It tasted more like a blend of apple wine and pure alcohol. We spoke with three servers and then a manager who tried to convince us that we were just not accustomed to the taste of "natural" wines. Even though the bottle cost $90, I didn't expect a refund, but I would have appreciated an apology and a suggestion for a replacement. Save your money and avoid this place.
I've been to both the Tramsheds and the Barangaroo outlets. The chicken and fish are well cooked and having a hot tooth I really enjoy the extra hot option. Another reason I go back is that they surprisingly have Reschs, my favourite beer, on tap....It helps to put out the fire!
