Popular local eatery. Eat in or take out. The usual, nothing special. Nice country decor. Average food, average prices. Limited desserts. Full bar. Lots of TVs and noise. Sometimes wonder what takes so long to get your food. (A bit of history: I can remember when this place was a saloon - drunks and fights and getting thrown out the door on a Saturday night: oh, the good ol' days! And the women's washroom had 3 cubicles but only 2 doors - you figure it out! LOL!)
Two for lunch on a Sunday afternoon. It sure has that cookhouse/saloon feel to it. Really nice woodwork, trinkets and historical photos. Fast friendly service,The reuben was 'melt in your mouth' , and the portobello on panini was absolutely delicious. This is 'real' food. We'll be back.
Good service, friendly atmosphere...always have a good meal. We had fish and chips with coleslaw this time. Have had large family and group dinners here at different times. Pleased with the service and meals. Sometimes they have entertainment.
Service is slow at times but the food is definately worth the wait. Portions are MAN size and the quality rivals the best around for miles. Always busy. Reservations not required but would be a good idea. Friendly staff, great atmosphere Book a table now
All food was incredibly mediocre. Gravy was super salty and lumpy, fries were soggy, and the toppings on the burger were more or less heaved in the direction of the bun. It's unlikely that I would visit again.
I take a lot of visitors to Pefferlaw here. The service is great and the food is very good. Portions are good. BTW liver and onions fantastic.
Local yocal bar. Menu had some great listings but what we had was just ok. Would go back, if we were in the area, to give it another try
