It was my daughterâs birthday. We told the hostess when we arrived that it was her birthday. They did nothingâ¦.not even sing happy birthdayâ¦which they did for several other tables. The tepanyaki (sp chef barely spoke to anyone and did not do any of the normal things that kids loveâ¦.onion volcano, train , tossing shrimp etc. the food was average at best but that can usually be overlooked because of the entertainment of the chef. The last few times we have been to this location it has been terrible. We will not voluntarily go back.
Unfortunately, the restaurant was understaffed. We had to continuously remind the wait staff to bring us our drinks and they forgot to bring out our steamed rice which we didnât get until well after all of the meat had been served.
I would give zero stars for the customer service at this restaurant. The reservation process was easy with a 4-star rating, but the customer service was just awful. There was plenty of room available, which now makes sense why.
not sure what happened to Benihanaâs over the years, but the table side âchefâ was not prepared to display skills in front of a table. It was embarrassing to sit through.

Disappointed in the food, hardly any veg in the rice. And the salad that was supposed to come with dressing had none.
no cook for 20 minutes and steak was over cooked and not delicious at all. don't go back.
