After reading some poor reviews I was a little worried about ordering from here but I honestly needn't have been. I ordered my usual chicken curry, egg fried rice, chow mein, prawn crackers and chips. We also ordered some chicken nuggets and cheesy chips for a fussy teenager who's not big on Chinese food! Everyone was really happy with their orders! All very tasty, the curry had lots of chicken and the chow mein was full of flavour. Overall couldn't really fault it and will definitely be using Bento Box again.
Had food from here twice now first time Chinese, special rice was complete rubbish more cheap veg than rice and just very poor and the sweet sour sauce was disgusting wrong colour wrong flavour second time cod and chips, never have I tasted such a poorly flavoured fish almost as bland as cardboard even the chips were just not nice no wonder the place is like a ghost town when are these people gonna realise the importance of good produce never again
Taken from here on Friday night. The delivery time was 90 minutes, so we collected. I ordered a shrimp roast with ginger and spring onion (and rice). I was pleasantly surprised with my food, it was absolutely delicious. The shrimps were fresh as the ingredients. The food here is oriental with modern spin and it has not disappointed. That was one of the best Chinese dishes I've ever eaten in this area.
Ignore the nay-sayer, Bento Box deliver really good quality food at a reasonable price! The chicken Chow-My had actually detectable vegetables in it, unlike other Chinese places around, and the chili chicken is absolutely to die. The noodles are not fat and the portions are as generous as any other Chinese restaurant. I will order again!

Ordered a take away to be delivered, but on delivery food was soggy, curry sauce was like water and generally poor quality. Phoned them and was told delivery driver would bring me a full refund to my door. There customer service is as a good as there food!!! Refund was not given at all. Do not take kindly to being lied to. Don't use them
Amazing quality noodles, tastes amazing without being fat. Just the best takeout I had in Portsmouth, and the value for money. The van got a little lost to find the house, but was still a quick delivery. Would recommend everyone a cheap, fast, high quality takeout!
Absolutely awful. Squid tasted like a pint of salt. The soup smelled and tasted like pine fresh toilet cleaner. Got the food on time but I wish I'd cleaned the dog cap from our garden and eaten it. **** shocking food.
Love it! amazing! had egg roasted rice chicken Chow my and sweet and sour chicken balls food had arrived delicious and fast. Just down there was the sweet and sour sauce to vinegary And then the Fab was!

This restaurant is always top-notch, it's our favorite for takeout. The food is genuinely delicious, and we love the bowl meals. The orders are always on time, hot, and delicious.
