Bills always offers a few vegan menu options for both starters and mains. However, I was disappointed when they had the cauliflower "steak" on the menu for a long time - it wasn't good and I didn't go back until it was removed. During my recent visit, I enjoyed a delicious vegan wellington. But I was disappointed with the limited dessert options of only lemon sorbet or coconut ice cream. I think Bills should be more creative with their dessert choices!
Bills has consistently a few vegan menu options for starters and mains. A small point was when she had the cauliflower 'Steak' for a long time - it was not good and I did not return until it left the menu! Visited the other day and had a beautiful vegan wellington. Unfortunately with only lemon sorbet or coconut ice cream for pudding the experience fell flat. Bills have a fantasy!
Very quiet mid week. Didn 't seem very organised. Sharing board for table was a single item that could not easily be shared. We ordered a second bottle of white wine but they didn 't have one chilled. Halloumi shawarma turned up without hummus, one of the main components. When we queried it we were told they had run out why didn 't they say that when we ordered it ?
I had lunch at this restaurant on Tuesday, July 4th. I arrived at 11:45 and was seated at a table for one. I noticed the mac and cheese on the menu and decided to pair it with a white wine spritzer. The service was very prompt and the staff was friendly, although not overly chatty. Book a table now
Piped music was far too loud for comfort. We are 4 friends who meet occasionally for lunch and to catch up. We couldn't hear what each other was saying. However when asked it was turned down
Despite a few mistakes such as missing fries with the burger or chicken with the salad, the meal was excellent.
Armed efficient staff atmosphere was very pleasant food very well enjoyed by all family grandchildren included!
