We have never visited Benedictos in person but ordered a takeaway last night via JustEat. The food arrived really quickly but that was the only positive unfortunately. We ordered a mozzarella garlic bread and whilst the middle was nice, the edges were completely burnt and...inedible. We also ordered lasagna for the main dish and again, one of these portions was incredibly burnt. It was also swimming in a very salty tomato-based sauce. The onion rings and fries as sides were ok. We were really disappointed with our food not cheap either at £35. We wouldn’t recommend Benedictos and won’t be ordering for delivery or visiting the restaurant.
after booking a special meal we had great expectations not to be! put them in the cellar at a nice evening, the service was rushed to the point all 4 courses were completed in an hour. people on other tables we get their. starters before drinks. rush rush, rush, could also go to almost food joint! to beautify it, the owners are sweating they are still here, obviously we didn't want to fit in him he wanted us out! even over 90 pounds wasted evening!
very lively restaurant with good atmosphere. service very good. eating was good, but not great in our opinion. brie keile and garlic mushrooms that were quite standard. calzone, my man said, was very good. I had one of the specials that was nibbling. linguine at £17.50 I was quite disappointed because I couldn't find any crabs, it was just an aromatized sauce. I had expected more for the money.
First time here and I love Italian food, I had the Gamberoni to start, the vegetarian pasta and a tiramisu all delicious. My wife wasn’t so keen on her choice, the mozzarella, tomato and ham was cooked as a mini tagine and she thought it a little oily, here main was chicken and mushroom tagliatelle which I thought was nice, and profiter rolls for desert. Staff very attentive and pleasant.

After we had eaten at benedicto many years ago, we were new and as expected it is still amazing. great atmosphere, great choice on the menu, fab service even if crazy busy and good quality eat and wein. I meet my friends here for weeks, I was with my man and also with our extended family and every time is just great.
Really lovely meal yesterday early evening. They managed to squeeze us in but had to vacate table as they were so busy. Great friendly staff..only issue being picky.. surely you could have more than 4 king prawns for starters. 9/10 from me and I'm fussy!
the restaurant was busy on a Wednesday night, but in the position to treat our party of 9 that had not booked! relaxing atmosphere big wine cake eating was fantastic. the chip ferbsenfritter were excellent and the pizza cooked to perfection.
