Went here for the second time and it was an experience worth writing a review for I guess. Service is good, waiter was nice enough, but I ordered the NY Strip medium rare and it was more medium than rare. I double checked with the waiter and asked what I ordered, in case he wrote down well done or something, and he said I did request medium rare. Told him the steak was overcooked and he just apologized, lol. I already ate half the steak at that point so I understand why hedidn?t offer a new one, though. FOOD TAKEN OFF PLATE IN MIDDLE OF MEAL. I ordered BBQ Ribs Chicken and received a plate of chicken. I let my server know I got the wrong food, server was kind and said no problem we will make this right and bring out the rest of your food. Five minutes later server returns with a small plate in hand and asks me to remove a piece of chicken from my plate that I am eating from!!! Needless to say I did not finish my meal, it was ruined. It was surprisingly not busy on a weeknight when we visited this restaurant. To be safe, we made reservations ahead of time. We needed some special accommodations, which I had forgotten to mention, but when I called at the last minute, they were able to make the necessary changes. We were greeted warmly and not rushed, even though members of our party arrived at different times. We enjoyed appetizers, entrees, and even ordered some food to-go. The only thing that bothered me was that the toppings on the loaded baked potatoes were all mixed together instead of being separated. The food at this restaurant was good, but the portion sizes were very small. The portion for the filet mignon, soup, and twice baked potato was not enough for a regular meal. The steak was overcooked and dry, and did not resemble or taste like a filet mignon. The twice baked potato was basically just a potato skin. The soup came in a small bowl that was more like a cup. I had to send my food back, and they had to remake the steak and give me a regular baked potato instead of charging me extra for just a potato skin. The food came back better the second time, but overall I would not return to this restaurant because the food quality was not satisfactory.

After 12 years of my last visit, I came in here looking for a great steak, at any price. I ordered the closest thing to a surf and turf: rib eye steak with some shrimp. Multiple times stressing that I like it rare. After a disappointing old fashioned cocktail, I got my meal. Besides a few lonely looking shrimp that seemed to hitchhike their way onto the plate, I got a decent steak. But not a great steak. Also it was definitely not rare. If I'm gonna leave behind $70 perperson, I wanna be impressed about SOMETHING. At least the server was friendly. Will I ever come back?... probably not.
We had not been to this location in about 6 months. We were very sad to have a poor experience. It took 1.5 hrs to get our food. Nobody asked if we wanted drink refills. Nobody apologized for the delay or informed us of any delay and/or issue. When the entrees arrived 2 were cold. It was a very disappointing visit and we will not return. So sad.l because we had enjoyed it previously.
The service at this restaurant was excellent, but unfortunately the quality of the food, specifically the steaks, was poor. The steaks came out highly overcooked, but the staff happily replaced them and the second batch was cooked perfectly. However, both steaks had a lot of nerve and gristle. Overall, last night's steaks were a disappointment and received two thumbs down.
We arrived before 6 o'clock, so we were able to order off the square cow menu. My friend has been wanting to have the steak sandwich and she loved it. As usual our service was great. Thank you for yet another great experience. OuR waitress was so nice and took order and brought out food quickly. And kept checking on us. We'll be back. I forgot to tell her we were celebrating a birthday. Missed out on that free dessert.
Our server was very nice and helpful . She patient and kind. Brought a high chair for baby. Some in the group had trouble deciding what to order. She answered everyone question cheerfully.
