I have been a regular customer at this restaurant for many years, and used to visit multiple times a week for their lunch buffet, which was the best deal in town for around $10. The selection was excellent and all the food was hot and fresh. Unfortunately, they have since discontinued the buffet due to Covid. I have been back for dinner on a few occasions, but I have not had the same positive experience. The prices are much higher and the portions are smaller. I have also encountered dishes that were overly salty to the point where I couldn't finish them. Overall, my recent experiences at the restaurant have not been as enjoyable as they once were.
Consistently wonderful food near the Rockville Town Square. Ownership holds the entire team to a very high standard which is clear in both the quality of the food and the service. To better serve those of us who can?t live without the dine-in experience, an outdoor dining space was added. My family has been frequenting this restaurant for years now! Even though we live 20-30 minutes away, we still choose Bombay Bistro over other Indian restaurants closer to us because of how fantastic it is. The food is exceptional and the portions are generous! You definitely get your money's worth. The staff is also very friendly! If I could give Bombay Bistro more stars, I would. This is the go-to place for authentic Indian cuisine!
If you are looking for a cozy restaurant with fast service and a very relaxing atmosphere then look no further. We were seated promptly and our food came out very fast, even with the restaurant half full. It didn?t feel packed at any point even with most of the seats filled. The food was fantastic and the staff is attentive. Probably some of the best samosas I?ve ever had. Will absolutely come back, many more times.

Very friendly staff and absolutely phenomenal food. Lots of fantastic flavors and if you don 't know what you want you can get a Thali Plater which gives you a small portion of 5 different dishes. My favorites were the Malai Kofta and the Paneer Matter. Tried a house made cheese patty for dessert which was surprisingly good, sweet with cardamom.
The food at this restaurant is really delicious. I appreciate that the menu clearly labels vegan items, although be cautious because the chutney served with the samosas is not vegan as it contains yogurt. I particularly enjoy the masala dosas and sambar. The only vegan bread option available is poori.
Had high hopes since this place has been here awhile. Big disappointment. Tandoori chick, lamb biriyani, lamb rogan josh all were dry. Even naan, which is hard to mess up, was tough and chewy. Flavor wasn't there either. I'm not a complainer. This was the worst Indian food I've ever had.
We have always loved Bombay Bistro as our go-to Indian restaurant. It consistently delivers with generous portions, perfect rice, and a wide variety of delicious options. The chicken curry is a standout dish, and all the vegetarian options are fantastic.

This was my first time here. The food was excellent. I suggest their signature drink the mango and wine. I got the Lamb Vindaloo and be forewarned it is spicy! I like heat and it was almost too much for me. We will definitely be going back
