From the moment i walked in, all 3 of the ladies energy was authentic and nice, i am well aware of the stereotype that Caribbean restaurants give poor customer service. However this wasn’t my experience at this location. They was smiling and playful the entire time, and seemed like they actually like their job, And on top of that the food was legit, i got fried chicken and some special rice and was full for 13 bucks, will be coming back soon! The ladies behind the counter were Sano, Sucki, and Charlotte, hopefully they get the credit they deserve.
I ordered 2 medium dishes(callaloo&salfish//okra& salt fish- both with food) and was charged $24. I asked why the bill was $24 when the clearly visible sign indicated $11 for each dish. Response: it is $12 per the cash register. I said but the sign indicates that it is $11. Response: It is $12. The sign is wrong. Whose fault is it that the sign is wrong? Not mine for sure. So with that being said, I no longer will be ordering from this locale!!!
After years of going to Buff patty on Elmont road I was concerned when I found out they were under new management. However, after calling in an order one day and talking to Sue the pleasant and cheerfulness I was greeted with I had to go in person to see. Overall I must say they are a lot nicer now and the food is still pretty good even under new management.
The food at this restaurant is consistently delicious. The curry goat is a standout dish, and the cowfoot is also exceptional. The staff was accommodating and even went out of their way to fulfill a special request for bun and cheese. I highly recommend this restaurant, especially as someone who is picky about Jamaican food, as I cook similar dishes at home.

The quality of the Patties is satisfactory, however, it appears that the overall cleanliness of the establishment has declined since the new management assumed control. The windows are often foggy and present a grimy appearance.
Overall, this restaurant is excellent in every aspect. A standout is definitely the macaroni salad made by their talented chef. She is truly amazing.
A family favorite! The food is good! I relocated, and every trip is an opportunity to stop in and get a bit for the family before heading home!
