The pub is now under new management and has undergone a fantastic transformation with its new owners. They have created a warm and welcoming atmosphere where guests feel right at home with the attentive staff. The food quality has significantly increased, and a special mention goes to the chef (Tom, I believe) who went the extra mile to ensure we were satisfied with our meal, even coming to our table personally. I will certainly be returning!
Second visit to this lovely pub, last came with sister, so brought husband to sample their delicious food. Food excellent, mushroom and tarragon pudding was amazing with their exceptional sautéed potatoes, as I'm a vegetarian. Fantastic service and very clean place in all areas. Would highly recommend a visit to this lovely pub.
very poor management avoid not good best thing they could do is leave the pub before its totally got a bad name its hard to get a good name and it was the guy before who built it up think is name is keith but these peop[le are killing the place food looks terrible i wouldn't want to eat it the dog would probs turn his nose up
We attend a funeral at the bull and dog there was a wedding taken place at the same time the pub was under staffed with long delays at the bar the buffet which cost £300 was very poor and disappointing overall not a very good... Book a table now
Great food, been here quite a few times and staff very friendly, although on this occasion only one girl serving food and waiting on all on her own, she did really well...Thank you for a lovely time. I cannot fault food at all.

Worst meal ever. Waited 3 quarters of an hour for basic meals which were awful quality. The service was awful too. Then we were overcharged. No apology given. Do not eat here you have been warned!
