My husband, 2 kids (ages 13 and 11) and I went on Saturday for Lunch.We like to order a bunch of appetizers and share, that way we get to try a variety of things. My son had a burger and really liked it. We got seated right away, on the patio overlooking the water. It was a lovely, private spot with garden and trees separating the restaurant from the walkway that hugs the pond. We sat in full sun, which didn't last long - as the sun moved we got some shade but there are lots of shady spots on the patio if you prefer full shade. I have had dinner at Cachet Restaurant several times, but last night was a disappointment. The martinis were great, as usual. The food was very good. But the service left a lot to be desired.Wait staff walked right past as if we were not there. We had to ask for a glass of water, and ask for dry chairs on the patio.After our meal it was raining so we went inside and sat at the bar. Four staff member were chatting at the end of the bar and we had to flag one down just to get some service. Very disappointing
Have being a patron for many years. Changed their menus one more time. It has always been slim pickings for food choices throughout the years but this is now the worst I have seen. Instead of taking away all the favourite items, add more items please. The four of us ordered sliders which were OK, but not a winner. Service was mediocre at best. It is too bad because I enjoy sitting on their patio and the 4 - 6 pm martini hour. Don't know if I will e back but my the other three ladies will not.
The service is good, the location beside the water is very sweet. But the food is disgusting. I feel a bit bad for being brutally honest but, our bill was very high considering the substandard food. They are charging Toronto prices, which would be fine if the food was good. We had calamari, burger, the brie dip, a salad, two types of pizzas, and two types of sandwiches.

Great service. Location along riverside. Busy spot. Seated on street side patio Food was excellent. Wedge salad, mussels and baked Reuben. The Reuben was very different. Now craving another! If you’re a cycling enthusiast it is a great find right along the path. Make sure you stop in. You’ll be back!
First time to Cachet and we are very impressed! Great service, food and drinks! Tons of options for food and drinks! Reasonably priced and I really have nothing to complain about. The atmosphere is great and I will defiantly be back!I highly recommend this place!
Was our favourite place for man years, recently taken over by new owners. Can't get martini order right, bathrooms filthy with over flowing trash. Terrible shame, got rid of all regular wait staff. What a shame we will not be back!
If you are looking for a place to have a leisurely lunch, this is the place. If you want a quick lunch, this is not the place for you. Hubby had the seafood sliders and I had the smoked salmon wrap. Both were very good.

We visited on an evening and ordered the Feta Fournou for the first time and it was so good, I took some friends for lunch twice since. I had the mushroom ravioli and was very good.
