Attended the Summerlicious Lunch at Cactus First Canadian Place. Great atmosphere, service and Rob's Crispy Chicken Sandwich.... A MUST TRY! The sandwich was extremely tasty/ simply delicious. Even when you're not hungry, you will want to finish the sandwich! We had ordered the Brazillian drink (It tasted like mojitos, opt out Rum if you don't want alcohol), the drink was very refreshing!! We had seafood ceviche as the appetizer, Rob's Crispy Chicken Sandwich as the main course followed by desserts (Key Lime Pie or Chocolate moose). The food is also available on their regular menu. Highly recommend you to give them a try. P.S. If you're a tuna/or seafood lover, their Tuna Stack appetizer is...

The Cactus Club Cafe is a new trendy hot spot in downtown. The menu features creations by iconic BC chef Rob Fennie. Twice I've had the Szechuan Chicken Lettuce Wraps and the Ceviche which were both fabulous. Once we ate on the Rooftop Terrace and I had the Grilled Tuna Club. Actually it wasn't on the Terrace menu as the kitchen is smaller. But our server was gracious enough to have one made for me downstairs and brought up. My husband had the Hunter Chicken once the the Port Wine Salmon another time. Both got rave reviews. Plus the Chocolate Lava cake was decadent.
This was a second time for us at this restaurant before concerts at the ACC. We sat at the patio this time and it was very nice. The food is why we came back, it is amazing. This time I had a Cajun steak with shrimp, stake was perfectly cooked, very spicy and delicious. My wife had the butternut squash ravioli with shrimp, 3 days later she is still talking about it, it was that good. We also shard a ceviche which was amazing. Allow yourself lots of time as the restaurant is quite busy and service can be slow. We will definitely be back.
One of the young girls at our hotel recommended that we try the Cactus Club and we loved it. Such a trendy bar/cafe. We ordered the Quinoa salad and some sliders and they were both very good. I hear its very cool upstairs on the rooftop but we didnt even try going up there as we were pretty casually dressed. If you can, make a reservation and dress up a little, and try get a table upstairs. You wont be disappointed. Book a table now
The ravioli prawn trio was incredibly tasty! I'll definitely be ordering two next time. The new truffle parmesan chicken was also amazing, with perfectly seasoned chicken and light, fluffy gnocchi. The sauce was also spot on. I will definitely be ordering from here again.
I was disappointed when Cactus removed their Caesar salad (which was the best in the city, no question), but I was thrilled to find the AVOCADO KALE SALAD. The grilled avocado is a fantastic addition! My favorite part is the chickpeas - they're light yet crunchy.
Fast service, the food was exceptional! The Key Lime pie portion was generous, which is a rarity nowadays. I will definitely order it again because Cactus Club offers great value. (Well, as much value as a $15 slice of pie can be!)
Not good at all. One of the salads had only lettuce nothing else. The presentation was messy wity dressing that had opened and spilled. More care and atten required. Book a table now
Hands down, the Avocado Kale Salad is my favourite salad in Toronto! Love the crispy chickpeas, so light and great crunch, fantastic touch
