About a month ago, I visited this place while I was in town and was thrilled to discover a spot that offered delicious treats—a rarity for me! As someone who can't have dairy, finding gluten-free and dairy-free options was a real highlight. I tried the coffee cake and the mahogany bar, both of which were fantastic, and the portions were generous! I also picked up a frozen loaf of Italian bread, which I just enjoyed this past weekend, and it was incredible—definitely don’t miss out on that! I still have a few other items I’m eager to try, and I’m sure they’ll be just as delightful.
I used to love this restaurant at its previous location. There were so many options, and the staff was always friendly. However, my experience today was quite the opposite. To start, the woman at the counter was condescending and unhelpful. Nothing was properly labeled, which made it awkward to ask about the different items. There was very little food available, and when we inquired about ordering from the menu, we were told, "It's first come, first serve." I found this surprising, especially since it was only around 1 PM and they don't close until 4 PM.
If you’re looking for celiac safe that can trick the gluten fiends in your life this is a one stop shop! The Italian bread was to die-for and literally brought me to tears. I haven’t had a true crispy-crusted, tender centered, Italian sub since my diagnosis 4 years ago. The coffee cake was moist, with the perfect rich, hearty crumble…two things I’ve found impossible to come by in the gluten-free world. I can’t wait to go back for the cinnamon buns (sold out for the day). So worth the hour drive!! Dietary restrictions: Celiac safe.
We took an adventure down the shore and wow was it worth it. This fully gluten free facility served up hot cinnamon buns that were to die for. My husband stole the donuts. I love their baguette that tastes a lot like the good Italian bread from back in the day. Their cannoli shells were exceptional. I also bought a bunch of prepared meals that were lovely. Chicken parmesan, eggplant parmesan and excellent pizza. The staff/owner was incredibly helpful, the place was immaculate

Absolutely fantastic meal, I eat there after a stop at Sandy Hook and the owner and I shared some great conversations about the local area. A relatively new business but it has amazing food and the vegan sandwiches have the best bread and carrot hummus omg it?s amazing. I bought their Cauliflower Alfredo and vodka sauce featured in the picture is chick pea penne with Kale broccoli and arugula! Not that impressed. My sandwiches had very little chicken and brown lettuce on them, pretty thin for the price. The lady at the counter was very nice and talkative, helpful with info but somehow didn?t give me a receipt so I could see what I spent $178 on for 2 bags of food. It may be 100% gluten free but most of us will have to continue to search supermarkets for food we can eat, as the prices here are exorbitant. Nice for a gluten free snack out
If you haven't visited this cafe yet, you should definitely make it a priority! The food is exceptional and delicious. My egg muffin was fantastic—savory and flavorful, and completely dairy and gluten-free. You wouldn't even know it! I also tried the dairy-free Brie cheese, and it's honestly one of the best dairy-free cheeses I've ever tasted.
Lots of gluten free options- sweet and savory. Some interesting cold drinks too. Prices were higher than expected. Cafe tables outside. They also have a big selection of frozen items you can make at home. I enjoyed my tuna wrap but my friends quinoa bowl was very undercooked

Amazing spot. Very warm and cozy. Had the home made pizza and it was very delightful. Desserts are to die for too. The owner was kind and chatted with us. Will definitely come back!
The food was delicious. The service was wonderful! 100% gluten free always gets bonus points from me. Everything was great!
