Dined in today and food was tasty; however, disappointed that the cashier and waitress were both arguing with me over them charging me “extra beans” fee. I ordered two tacos but specifically asked that they put them in separate plates/order if they were going to put a smear of beans for both tacos as when ordered separately it’s a tiny spoonful for a single taco. I stated that if they were gonna combine them to please make sure they included beans for both. They argued that it was more than a spoonful each so I was being charged extra. Ridiculous to argue over beans when my ticket was over $40 for breakfast. I will definitely go elsewhere from here on. Trying to support a business for what t...
To have a great experience here have Abby or Carmen as waitresses. They make it so much fun, makes you feel like your part of the family.. Food is good, after 11am breakfast is additional $1 but totally worth it.
The portions are very small and the food is not served hot. It tasted okay, but overall we wouldn't choose to dine here again. The waitress was pleasant, however. Overall rating for the food: 2 out of 5.
I had a fantastic breakfast at Carmelita's Restaurant in Pharr. The ranchero and egg plate was absolutely delicious and satisfying. I would give the food a perfect score of 5 out of 5.
