Since this is a so popular destination for tourists, they would think they would serve some good dishes. Grief Grief We were drained with the drawn pork pizza ($ 24). The base tasted like a mccain, which was frozen by Colles. Toppings were ... ok, could not taste chili in the mushrooms. The sauce was good, but the base just did not let it down. Grief Grief Fish and chips were better (26 US dollars). The fish was treated with respect, it was tender and juicy, the dough was very crisp, but the chips were only warm and soggig. Side salad was very nice, but everything was very hard to eat on such a crowded plate. Grief Grief Decent portions, but under average food at a steep price. I would say,...

Menu very easy. Stock standard pub grub. We had the antipasto plate that was garbage. It was big, but the stuff on it was usually. Shaped from garbage from the Colles Deli counter. Cold-cut meat that is not fresh at all. Much too much cold cutting meat. Not enough variance. Tiny Ramekin of the Grilled Vegetables, which was clearly not grilled, was grilled when the menu applied. The pies probably saw the winner from the menu from what we saw, to other tables. Beers are basic. Good average styles. Where was the Brewery Release seasonal beers, etc. They could do with a marketing guru to overcome and overcome the place.
Order a tea and coffee pre-brewery tour. The teapot had Floate that ended in my tea. The milk had Floate, but I discovered her before I had poured. The flat white was more like a latte, but tasted good. After the inability to clean a teapot and a dairy ball, we decided that we skip at this place after the tour at noon and drive back to Hobart. Notify the desk and got an apology, but there was no time to fix before we ran on our tour. Grief Editing: When I came back from the tour, I gave me the lady, which I very happy told myself, a free product and apologized for the problem. Many Thanks :)
The food is very average, the beer is garbage, the interior decor of the restaurant is bad. However, the gardens are beautiful and the old brewery over the street looks amazing. Value for money is also great with cheap beer (paddle is great value). My tip would be to go on a nice day and sitting outside or even better absorb the hill on the hill on the rectangular ponds overlooking the hill. Book a table now
Came here for a casual drink.. Good experience. Lovely view of the brewery across the road unfortunately tour was fully booked! Booo!! Pate was yummy, went well with the beer and cider paddles we ordered! Parking was full so we had to park at the silo which was a short walk across the road. sueyluey.wordpress.com
A fairly ordinary brewery compared to some of the other near Australia, which consider a bit of pity. Apart from the old brewery building and the nice gardens, I would not go much to see much else. The food is very average and the beer ordinary.
Solid pub food with great views in the gardens. The staff was friendly and attentive. Club sandwich and lambs skewers were good. Grief Grief Nothing unusual but solid tariff.
We went on a tour of the cascade brewery and it was one of the most memorable parts of our trip to Hobart! Sam, our tour guide was funny, witty and full of Book a table now
