Best chippie I've found in the area. Batter is light (not too thick) and they have a choice of sizes fish wise to meet most appetites. The chips were good also. I ordered fish (cod) and chips for myself and friends and everyone commented best one they've tried yet in the area (they've tried a few). Sorry I didn't take photos as I was cold and hungry so pics got overlooked lol
We were on holiday in Richmond and fish and chips are a firm favourite in our house and whenever we’re on holiday, whatever part of the country we always have takeout fish and chips and I can honestly say this was one of the best we’ve ever had and better than a fish and chip from a shop that won a national award.
Always come here when I go to North Yorkshire to visit the area. I’m from Whitley bay and it’s well worth the drive 50 plus miles or so just for the food! Always pay in cash, cash is king! Great food at a decent price.
