Caton House offers a decent selection of drinks, going beyond the usual corner store fare. Their beer cooler runs from the entrance all the way to the back, so if you enjoy a good beer, you’re likely to find something you like. I haven’t tried their wines much, so I can’t speak to that.
If you get thirsty while inside (where drinking is allowed), there’s a bar on site. I haven’t had the chance to relax there yet, but it seems like a great spot for some downtime and people-watching—potentially leaving with a story or two.
The only downside is the parking lot, which can get a bit hectic since it’s often busy. Still, it’s conveniently located right on Canton Avenue, close to routes 295 and 95...
Caton House is a great place to unwind with friends, enjoy a game of keno or Racetrax, and have a few drinks. They also have an on-site liquor store with a decent selection of spirits, though prices can be a bit higher than elsewhere. In addition, they carry various cigarette brands as well as snacks like chips and candy. It’s definitely worth stopping by for some lottery fun and a drink or two!
I give this place a 5 for nostalgia alone as someone who spent my early 20's in Baltimore buying beer and liquor from this store and others like it. It's not pretty, and the sign on the door may scare some away, but if you need Natty Bo or Colt 45 this may be the place for you.
Liquors cool with a good selection. Gets a bit pricey sometimes. But shout out to the Husband and Wife Duo running the front....
