Rating: 4.5 stars (rounded up to 5) the ambiente: not a white tablecloth, but still classic. the service: quite on the point, although we had some difficulty getting the attention of the server when we spoon for a few dishes that we wanted to share. food: well prepared and delicious. the heat was ripped off a fair piece, probably better fit the local palette, and the sweet one was a tad higher than what you would have india. you come to the sister restaurant of a james beard prize winner with high expectations. While I had no complaints about eating, I did not find that the dishes were a lot of a swirl or especially inventive. While this type of Indian restaurant that has a certain focus on...

I came to this restaurant for lunch based on a friend's recommendation and was pleasantly surprised by the food. The buffet style was unique, but I wasn't totally impressed. The mango lassi tasted like it was made with frozen mango, but overall the dishes were tasty. While it may not be the best Indian food I've ever had, it was flavorful and reminiscent of dishes I've enjoyed at other recommended restaurants. The naan, saag, and dal were particularly fresh and delicious. I would definitely return, especially considering the unlimited buffet was priced at $16.

We decided to try the Saturday lunch buffet at this restaurant, but unfortunately, we were disappointed. When we arrived, the restaurant was only half full, but it still took them over 10 minutes to seat us. The layout of the buffet food was poorly planned, with the plates placed in a corner that caused a bottleneck, even when you just wanted to grab a single dish. The food was also not organized in the usual order that you would eat it. Additionally, we found the menu to be quite limited for a $20 per person Indian buffet.

Wow, what a gem! We stopped here without realizing they had a lunch buffet but it was such a great deal! (it was pricey but all you can eat). I was particularly impressed with the freshly prepped chat in the buffet line. The place was pretty packed on Sunday at lunch but there was no wait to get food. They also had a great selection of sauces and toppings. Needless to say, I ate too much. One gripe is that the only hot not vegan option was Butter Chicken. It was really Book a table now

I love dining at this restaurant! The crowd is always nice and I never have to wait long for a table. They offer great vegetarian and vegan options, and while nobody is perfect, this place comes pretty close. The service is excellent and the appetizers are always a hit. I especially love the complimentary snacks at the door. The roasted Okra chips are delicious and the veggie sandwiches are a popular choice. I always recommend this restaurant to others.

I absolutely loved this place! They serve authentic Indian flavors that are delicious. I particularly enjoyed the Kheema Pav and Butter Chicken. We also tried their Brussel Sprouts Manchurian, which was a special of the day. Their Pani Puri, served cart-style, is a must-try, along with the other items on the Chat (street food) menu. I highly recommend a visit to this restaurant!

The food is amazing! The only problem is the noise! It's so loud. I'm an autistic person and music in this restaurant made me physically hurt because of how loud it is. It even affected my non-autistic mother. All in all, the food is really good but I would recommend take out as apposed to eating there, especially if you're also autistic or get overwhelmed by auditory stimuli.

Chai Pani is one of my favorite restaurants in Atlanta. They have evolved their menu over the years, but the deliciousness remains constant (although I do miss the Thali). Every dish I've tried, from the desi salad to the kale pakoras to the goan prawns masala, has been excellent. Everyone I've brought to Chai Pani has loved it. Book a table now

I traveled all the way from Michigan just to eat at this restaurant! It is my favorite Indian food in the world. Even if you never thought you liked Indian food, this place is a must-try. It is absolutely delicious and worth dying for!
