Our waiter was pleasant enough, but after he served our food and one round of drinks, we found ourselves chasing after anyone we could find for additional service, including when we eventually asked for the check. It was then that we discovered the gratuity policy. In fact, they really lost out on potential sales – we would have ordered more of their excellent margaritas if they had simply asked. Instead, I’m not inclined to chase down a waiter for the chance to tip them for another drink. To make matters worse, they included a breakdown of optional extra tips at the bottom of the check, which even included a percentage on the original tip! I think this approach is just not good business...
