We called twice to inquire about the gluten-free options at this restaurant. They assured us they had a gluten-free menu and we placed our order, emphasizing the need for a gluten-free meal. When our food arrived, we asked multiple times to confirm it was gluten-free and were told that it was. Unfortunately, it turned out not to be gluten-free, despite our efforts to ensure it was safe for my brother, who has celiac disease. He became ill and has been sick all night. We did receive a refund, but it was disappointing and frustrating that the restaurant did not take proper precautions for someone with a serious allergy. This could have been a serious health issue if it had been a different all...
We went to this restaurant for our New Year's Eve dinner, and it was a set menu that was absolutely amazing. We started with duck and mushroom soup, followed by spring rolls and ribs. The duck was delicious and the main course included lemon chicken and king prawns in sweet and sour sauce with char siu rice. All of the dishes were fantastic, hot, and flavorful. At £40 per person, it was great value for the quality of the food. This restaurant is our favorite, and I have been coming here for over 14 years. The menu was excellent, and we left feeling very satisfied and happy.
We ate at Chengs for the first time on Saturday evening, and absolutely loved it. Three of us chose Banquet B (I think it was £20pp), and it was excellent. Portion sizes were really good and the food was lovely. Staff are also extremely efficient and friendly. We were especially impressed with Lauren, who looked after us incredibly well and answered all our daft questions with a smile. It was also very busy, which is generally a really good sign.
New years eve meal with the wife , amazing , we love the food here , soup , ribs then duck followed by mains of lemon chicken and King prawn in schwean both with rice , the food was served efficiently and we both left stuffed and happy , at £35 a head it was fantastic value and the staff are friendly and attentive can't wait to visit again during 2023

I'll give this place 2 out of 5 for a takeaway. The price I payed for 3 meals was so expensive, doesn't come with rice or chips. My food was good but the other 2 meals were bland with very big chunks of vegetables and ginger, the sauce had little flavour. Not sure how the eat in would be but we won't be going, very disappointed.
Lived in WB for two years and never knew this place existed. Wanted to go Chinese for their new year and found this place. Lovely restaurant with the most amazing staff and the food was faultless. We had the £29 a head banquet with a bottle of Chablis at £27 which you'd not get anywhere else. recommend
What a great evening with friends. Food amazing, service fabulous , plenty of meal choices and great value. Super portions and staff went out of their way to ensure you were happy and enjoyed your visit. Thoroughly recommend and look forward to return visit
Friendly staff and very polite. Plenty of prawn crackers freshly made. We had two king prawn dishes an curry and a sweet and sour. Both had a good portion of very large king prawns. The soup starters we had were very tasty.

Only had a take away meal tasty but the portion was very small for the price paid. Not a great selection in comparison to most .
