This location has really gone downhill. I had to start the conversation at the speaker to get someone to take my order after waiting about 10 minutes. They allowed me to order rolls with my meal, even though they only serve biscuits. When I mentioned I ordered rolls, they informed me it would take another 15 minutes. By that point, I had already been in the drive-thru for 30 minutes. Initially, I thought they might be short-staffed, but when I got to the window, I saw five employees mostly just standing around. The worst part of the experience was getting home and discovering they gave me gravy that was as watery as soup. It looked more like milk than gravy. I really blame the owners of this...
So, Chicken Express has raised its prices, but I still choose to eat there. Unfortunately, my last experience was not great. I ordered the 7 chicken tender meal with a drink, and when I got to the register, my total came to over $16. I asked the cashier if I could have a bag, and she told me that bags are only provided for larger orders! I was furious! I just spent $16 on food and can't get a bag to help carry it home?! My question is, why am I paying such high prices if I can't even get a simple bag for the food I just bought? I really don't understand the reasoning behind the price increase if it doesn’t even cover something as basic as a bag. Anyway, that was my experience.
I usually love Chicken Express, but my recent experience was disappointing. The service was slow, the food was lukewarm, and it seemed like it had been sitting out for a while. I arrived around 9:15 PM, and there was a line of cars waiting, which is unusual. Usually, a line means fresh, hot food is being prepared. Unfortunately, they were out of strips, so I opted for bone-in chicken, okra, and corn nuggets. None of it was hot or fresh. It was baffling to see such a long, slow line paired with low-quality food.
As a hungry EMT, I arrived at your restaurant at 7:00 PM on a Friday. However, all the lobby doors were locked. Although your staff saw my partner and me, they acted as if they didn't notice us. We decided to take our business to Golden Chick, where the lobby was welcoming and they were more than happy to serve us.

The food was excellent, earning a solid 5 out of 5. The service was equally impressive, also a perfect score of 5. The atmosphere was inviting and pleasant, so I rate that a 5 as well.
I highly recommend trying the rolls, chicken meal, and fried okra; they were delicious!
Hey y'all, had to change them to a one star. My food was not fresh, even though I asked for fresh. Yhey took it back and just took everything out the box and refried it. I git the kids meal and my dang gravy was cold. Try them at your own risk....Its a Thumbs down ?

The fish was served hot and tasted great, but the fries were disappointing. On the other hand, the apple pies were exceptionally delicious. Overall, I would rate the food a 5 and the service a 5 for my takeout dinner experience.
