This is not my usual location, but I was being discharged from Genesys Surgery Center and wanted to grab food for the night while we were already out. We picked up the order via drive-thru as instructed and headed home. Normally the potatoes are fresh and have some butter, if not on them, at least down inside the container, and the chicken bites are fresh and crunchy. This is the worst meal I've ever gotten from Chicken Shack. The potatoes were dry and cold. The chicken bites were hard to bite into because they were so tough and dry. Nothing was hot or even warm. The service at this location is the worst I have ever had at any restaurant. There is no sense of urgency to get customers in and out. The lack of management there is horrendous. I was told 15 mins for my order when I placed my order over the phon. I arrived in 20 mins. My order should have been ready. When I finally got to the drive thru window after the 10 mins waiting in the drive through line, I was told the pizza on my order was not ready and to pull up. Thinking ok it should be out in a couple mins. So they proceeded to give me a drink that came with my pizza order. I was never asked what I wanted and was given a pop that we do not drink. The young lady that worked the drive-thru delivered very poor service. Unrepresentative of both Chicken-Shack and Little Caesars which are both long standing staples in the Michigan area. The franchisee must consider the character of the family employees that they hire. I simply order a cheese hot and ready when I proceeded to the pick-up window she had no clue what I was there for. I retold the young lady my order. She brings a pepperoni hot and ready. I explain that I ordered a cheese hot and ready. Her body language and expression was nasty. Update 12/6/21 Not a lot of places try to follow up with their customers but surprisingly Chicken Shack did and I felt that was nice to mention. Stopped at this place again and I could tell I received a way better service this time. ——————————————— This place used to be better. We ordered one chicken tenders meal reg (9.99) and a chicken shack (3.49) and they charged us 18.75 while our total should’ve been 13.48!! We were in hurry so we didn’t pay attention until we checked the receipt later. They did not put any types of sauce with our chicken and they took almost 35 minutes to make only one meal!!!!!! This is so unacceptable. I don’t think I ever go there again.
I wish I could give a zero star because ordered food through drive through and waited over 30 minutes before I finally gave up and went inside and got a refund where the workers seemed like they couldn’t be botheeed by it they all were goofing around on there phones not working while there were five other people in lobby waiting it’s a shame because all of this I will never be back to chicken shack and I will be telling everyone I know to not go to this chicken shack I will be contacting corporate to tell them they need to do something about this store it’sPitiful how the store is ran
If you’re going for just the little Caesar’s side than save your time and go to the corporate stores. They run a lot better. Always have to wait 30+ mins for them to even make food. It’s not worth it when the Merriman and Ann Arbor Trl or even store 1 at Merriman and cherry hill run a lot faster. Maybe I’m just one of those “I use to work at little Caesar’s” but it helps me know their just lying to us. Save your time, money and energy.
On a scale from 1-10, 1!!!!Horrible experience at little caesars! I've tried to give this place a chance in spite of my order being wrong several times along with my food being messed up! I can count on ONE hand how many times my order was right and that was TWICE! I understand mistakes happen, but OVER and OVER again??? NOOO WAY! The staff shows NO concern or empathy. I will NEVER spend another dime at this establishment!

I got a pepperoni extra most bestest made fresh from the Little Cesar's that's inside. The pizza was good, now the Chicken Shack's food on the other hand is plain and flavorless. I know plain and flavorless same thing right? I just wanted to convey how plain the food is.
