After a shaky start to our visit, we waited 30 minutes for a garlic bread and prawn cocktail starters being the only two eating was unacceptable however the bill was heavily discounted for our trouble which was a lovely gesture. Having said that the food was well worth the wait. You really should warn guest about the size of the starters though …. We ordered a rib eye steak and a fillet. A nice touch someone came from the kitchen to explain that due to the fact I wanted my fillet well done it would come out smaller, I appreciated that level of concern. We booked a table to celebrate my son's 16th birthday. We were looking for a smaller, independent restaurant rather than a chain. We were not dissapointed! Arrived 20 minutes late due to the traffic, we were greeted by a lovely manager lady Gail in a very friendly and professional manner and shown to our table. We asked for some food and wine recommendations. The head chef came out to us and recommended the sea bass and the ribeye steaks which were delicious! John and Gail are the most welcoming hosts. I had dinner on a Friday, late on and unexpected. The chef was willing and more than happy to serve me even though, its was nearly time to close. The food was fantastic, I had the goats cheese croquettes. They were crispy and delicate on the outside and the filling was delicious and incredibly scrumptious. Just the right amount of Goats cheese, not over the top ! I often have a drink here on a Thursday and Friday evening. The staff are the most welcoming. They are extremely friendly and even know my drinks order now. I could only highly recommended Chime and the fabulous staff that work there too. Pop in !
I made a reservation for Mother's Day and my mom's birthday meal, and it was absolutely amazing. The food was incredible and we had no complaints at all. I prefer to support local independent businesses and pay for good quality rather than go to a chain restaurant and get low quality food. This place was perfect. The service from Billie was exceptional. Billie took the time to speak to my brother, who has learning difficulties, and was very patient with him. They even remembered our order without writing it down and went above and beyond my expectations. This restaurant is definitely a top choice for a special treat.

We came here for dinner and took advantage of the 40% off food promotion running in January. I ordered the burger and my partner ordered the pizza. It was genuinely the best burger I’ve had, and my partner said the same thing about the pizza. High quality fresh ingredients put together by a very talented chef. Desserts were also very authentic. The young man who served us was very friendly and efficient too. Overall, a very enjoyable experience, and we can’t wait to visit again. If you’re looking for quality food, in a lovely environment, then I’d highly recommend.
This place is cool as hell and as well as being welcoming it has really great food and an amazing array of cocktails. Our Saturday lunch visits here last way too long but time flies when you’re having fun.! I can’t praise the team there enough and I love the fact they encourage you to try something new and get you out of your comfort zone. Particular thanks goes to Billy for his attentiveness as well as being one of the nicest chap I’ve had the pleasure to meet. See you all again soon.
Absolutely amazing way to spend our new years! The food was amazing and the service also! The cocktails 10/10. So good that we came back a week later for my birthday back again a week after to take advantage of the 40% off offer! If you haven’t been you need to!!
Had been meaning to try the Sunday roast here for a while …. It was delicious…. The staff were friendly and helpful and the choice of wines excellent The normal menu looked really interesting and varied too …. Good to support a locally owned business

This pub is absolutely awful. It is outdated, smells bad, and both the staff and customers are extremely rude. It might be the worst pub in Northwich! It makes The Blue Barrel look like The Ritz.
Very friendly staff and fantastic food. Great service, excellent value for money. Booked our next visit before leaving.
